SJR Football Academy
At SJR Academy, we take pride in providing a top-class football experience for young players across Worksop and the surrounding areas. Our Academy Teams represent the pinnacle of youth football in the region, featuring the best players in each age group, starting from Under 9s.
Where We Compete
Our Academy Teams play competitively on Saturdays in the Junior Premier League (JPL) and the North Derbyshire, Doncaster and Sheffield Leagues. These leagues offer the perfect platform for our players to test their skills against some of the finest young talent in the area, helping them grow and excel in the game they love.
Exceptional Facilities
We believe that world-class training requires world-class facilities. During the winter, all our teams train on cutting-edge 3G astroturf pitches, designed to provide a safe and consistent surface for practice in any weather. In the summer months, they train and play matches on some of the best grass pitches in the area, ensuring an unmatched experience year-round.
Affordable Excellence
We are committed to making elite-level football accessible to all. With subscription fees at just £25 per month, our Academy offers incredible value without compromising on quality. This fee includes expert coaching, access to top facilities, and participation in competitive leagues.
Scouting the Best
Our Academy starts from Under 9s, and each player is carefully scouted by our Academy Head, Craig Myatt. Craig’s eye for talent ensures that only the most promising young players join our teams, creating an environment that challenges and inspires everyone involved.
